Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

COPD is a progressive lung disease that encompasses different conditions, such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis. COPD is characterized by limited airflow and breathing difficulties, and while it is uncurable, its progression and symptoms can be managed through different treatments.

Upcoming Clinical Trial for Moderate to Very Severe COPD

Hightower Clinical will soon begin a research study for adults living with moderate to very severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This study will test a new investigational treatment to see if it can help reduce flare-ups and improve symptoms in people already on inhaled maintenance medications.

Participants may receive one of two doses of the study drug or a placebo through monthly injections. The study will last up to 76 weeks, with an additional follow-up period to monitor safety. All study-related care will be provided at no cost.
