Struggling to Keep Your Blood Pressure Under Control?

You might qualify for our High Blood Pressure Clinical Study

High blood pressure is one of the leading causes of heart attack, stroke, and heart failure in the United States, affecting millions of adults each year. Despite taking multiple medications, many patients still cannot reach safe blood pressure levels, putting their heart, brain, and kidneys at serious risk.

At Hightower Clinical, we are currently conducting a hypertension clinical trial to assess the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment designed for adults whose blood pressure remains uncontrolled despite existing medications.

Participation in the clinical trial is completely free of charge and entirely voluntary.

To participate, fill out the form, and a member of our research team will contact you to determine your eligibility for the study.

About Antihypertensive Drug Research Study

Hightower Clinical is conducting a hypertension clinical trial for adults living with uncontrolled high blood pressure. The study intends to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational treatment for individuals with hypertension who have established cardiovascular disease or are at high risk of developing it.

This research study for hypertension with cardiovascular risk aims to assess whether the investigational treatment can effectively reduce blood pressure and lower the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and heart failure.

Participants will be randomly divided into two groups: one group will receive the investigational drug, while the other will receive a placebo.

All study procedures and treatments, including the investigational drug, are provided at no cost, and insurance is not required to participate.

The study doctor will guide you through every step of the clinical trial, answering any questions you may have about the study treatment before you make your decision to participate.

Research Studies for Hypertension with Cardiovascular Risk: What to Anticipate

Upon agreeing to participate in the study, you will be asked to sign an Informed Consent Form that provides comprehensive details about this hypertension clinical trial. Our research team will also guide you through the study process and explain your role in the trial. We strongly encourage participants to ask any questions they may have before deciding to participate or withdraw from the trial.

Once the consent form is signed and all questions are addressed, participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: the Control group or the Experimental group.

In the Control group, participants will receive a placebo without active ingredients, while those in the Experimental group will receive the actual investigational treatment. This study is double-blind, meaning neither the researcher nor the participant knows which treatment is being administered.

Study-related care is provided free of charge. Expert physicians and healthcare professionals will perform thorough physical exams and assessments throughout the trial.

What Happens with Uncontrolled Hypertension?

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, occurs when the force of blood pushing against the artery walls remains consistently too high. Over time, this constant pressure damages blood vessels and strains the heart, brain, and kidneys. Often called the “silent killer,” hypertension rarely causes noticeable symptoms until serious damage has already occurred.

Complications

If left uncontrolled, high blood pressure can lead to severe and lasting health consequences, including:

  • Heart Attack: Damaged arteries reduce blood flow to the heart, increasing the risk of a fatal cardiac event.
  • Stroke: High pressure can cause blood vessels in the brain to burst or become blocked, leading to brain damage.
  • Heart Failure: The heart becomes overworked and weakened from consistently pumping against high pressure.
  • Kidney Damage: Uncontrolled blood pressure impairs the kidney’s ability to filter waste effectively.
  • Vision Loss: Increased pressure can damage blood vessels in the eyes, leading to vision problems or blindness.

Symptoms

Common symptoms of uncontrolled hypertension include:

  • Persistent headaches, particularly at the back of the head
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Shortness of breath during routine activities
  • Chest pain or tightness
  • Irregular or rapid heartbeat
  • Blurred vision or nosebleeds without an obvious cause
  • Fatigue or confusion

Frequently Asked Questions

What is uncontrolled hypertension?

Uncontrolled hypertension is when blood pressure remains dangerously high despite taking prescribed medications. It significantly increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and other life-threatening complications, making additional treatment options critically important.

What happens during our Antihypertensive Drug Research Study?

After screening and consent, participants are assigned to receive either the investigational treatment or a placebo. Regular follow-up visits monitor blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and overall wellbeing. All visits, tests, and study-related care are provided at no cost throughout the trial.

Why participate in our Research Studies for Hypertension with Cardiovascular Risk?

Participating gives you access to potentially more effective treatment and close medical monitoring at no cost. Your involvement directly contributes to advancing new options for uncontrolled high blood pressure that could protect millions of patients from heart attacks, stroke, and heart failure.
