A migraine is a type of headache characterized by severe throbbing pain usually in one side of the head. The condition affects more than 39 million Americans, disrupting their daily lives due to the intensity of the pain.
Migraine is more often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. However, it affects each person differently, varying both in symptoms and their severity. While some people have infrequent attacks, others might experience frequent disabling attacks.
Hightower Clinical is conducting an acute migraine clinical trial to determine the efficacy of a study drug in reducing pain in people suffering with migraine.
