Participants receive either an investigational treatment or a placebo through four weekly knee injections. You’ll attend regular follow-up visits for imaging, mobility assessments, and safety checks to monitor changes in knee structure and symptoms.
Clinical trials on joint health, where your participation could support future osteoarthritis treatments.
Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common joint conditions among adults and often leads to chronic pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. As the protective cartilage in the knee wears down, daily movement becomes increasingly difficult, affecting quality of life.
Hightower Clinical is currently enrolling participants for a research study evaluating an investigational injectable therapy that may help improve knee function and slow the progression of osteoarthritis. This study is designed for adults with mild to moderate osteoarthritis in one knee.
*Participation in the Clinical Trial is completely free of cost and is your choice.
*To participate, fill out the form, and someone from our research staff will call you to determine your eligibility for the Clinical Research Study.

This clinical trial is designed to assess the safety and effectiveness of an investigational peptide injected directly into the affected knee joint. Researchers believe this therapy may help improve the condition of the bone and cartilage involved in OA, which could support better knee function over time.
Participants will receive either investigational peptide or a placebo through a series of four weekly injections. The study uses a double-blind design, meaning neither you nor the study team will know which treatment you are receiving. Throughout the study, imaging and assessments; such as MRI scans, mobility evaluations, and symptom questionnaires, will help researchers understand how the therapy affects knee structure and function.
By joining this trial, you are contributing to research aimed at finding better, non-surgical options for people living with knee osteoarthritis.
*All study procedures and study-related treatment, including the investigational drug, are free of cost, and insurance is not required to participate.
*The study doctor will take you through every step of the Clinical Trial before you decide to participate and will answer any questions you have about the study treatment.
If you decide to participate, the first step is signing an Informed Consent Form. This document explains the study details, procedures, potential risks, and your rights as a participant. Our research team will guide you through every step and answer any questions you may have.
Once consent is provided, you’ll undergo a screening visit that includes medical evaluations and an MRI of your knee. This MRI will determine eligibility based on specific bone-shape measurements used in osteoarthritis research.
If eligible, you will be randomly assigned to either the investigational treatment group or the placebo group. All injections are administered by trained professionals using imaging guidance to ensure accuracy and safety.
You will attend several follow-up appointments for approximately one year. These visits allow our team to monitor your symptoms, evaluate your knee structure with MRI, and track changes in mobility and comfort levels.
* Study-related care is offered at no charge. Expert physicians and healthcare professionals conduct thorough physical exams and assessments.

Knee Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
Osteoarthritis of the knee occurs when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of your bones gradually breaks down. As this cartilage wears away, the bones begin to rub against each other, causing pain, swelling, and stiffness. Over time, the joint becomes less flexible, making everyday activities harder to manage.
Participants receive either an investigational treatment or a placebo through four weekly knee injections. You’ll attend regular follow-up visits for imaging, mobility assessments, and safety checks to monitor changes in knee structure and symptoms.
Eligibility depends on your medical history, knee imaging results, and other health factors. A screening visit, including an MRI, helps determine whether this study is a safe fit for you.
You may gain access to a potential new treatment option and contribute to research that could improve future therapies for osteoarthritis. All study-related care is provided at no cost, and insurance is not required.
