The trial aimed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment added to standard antihypertensive therapy in patients with high cardiovascular risk and poorly controlled hypertension.
Hightower Clinical conducted a study evaluating an add-on therapy for patients with high cardiovascular risk and uncontrolled hypertension, aiming to improve blood pressure management and reduce long-term complications.
Hypertension, or high blood pressure, increases the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular events—especially in patients with additional risk factors. In many cases, standard medications are not enough to bring blood pressure under control. This highlights the need for innovative treatments that can provide better outcomes.
To address this challenge, Hightower Clinical conducted a clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug used alongside current antihypertensive therapies. The goal was to assess its effectiveness in improving blood pressure management in adults at high cardiovascular risk.

You might be eligible for hypertension research.
Hypertension remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the United States, affecting millions of men and women. Despite advancements in medical treatment, there is a continuous need for better therapies to manage and control high blood pressure.
At Hightower Clinical, we are currently running clinical trials focused on hypertension to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an experimental drug in individuals with high blood pressure.
Participation in the clinical trial is entirely voluntary and free of charge.
To participate, fill out the form, and a member of our research staff will call you to discuss your eligibility for the Clinical Research Study.

In collaboration with pharmaceutical companies, Hightower is initiating a research study focused on hypertension to assess the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for individuals with high blood pressure.
This Phase 2 hypertension clinical trial aims to determine whether the experimental drug can effectively lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications related to hypertension, such as heart attacks and strokes.
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: one that will receive the investigational drug and another that will receive a placebo.
All study procedures and related treatments, including investigational medication, are provided at no cost, and insurance is not required for participation.
The study doctor will guide you through every step of the clinical trial before you decide to participate and will answer any questions you have about the study treatment.
Upon agreeing to participate in the hypertension study, you will be asked to sign an Informed Consent Form that provides comprehensive details about the trial. Our research team will guide you through the study process and explain your role in the trials. We encourage participants to ask any questions they may have before deciding to participate or withdraw from the trial.
Once the consent form is signed and all inquiries are addressed, participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: the Control group or the Experimental group.
In the Control group, participants receive a placebo medication, while the Experimental group receives the study drug. This study utilizes a double-blind design, meaning that neither the researcher nor the participant knows which treatment is being administered.
All study-related care is provided at no cost. Expert physicians and healthcare professionals will conduct thorough physical exams and assessments throughout the trial.

Hypertension, often referred to as high blood pressure, is a chronic condition characterized by consistently elevated pressure of blood against the artery walls. If left untreated, hypertension can result in serious health complications.
Blood pressure (BP) should be measured twice on every visit. It must be assessed in both arms, and the higher reading should be recorded. Ensure the patient is seated comfortably.
Blood pressure can be measured in either arm, but it’s generally recommended to use the arm that gives the highest reading for consistency. It’s a good practice to check both arms initially to determine which one provides a more accurate measurement.
While hypertension may not be completely cured, it can often be effectively managed through lifestyle changes and medications. Many individuals can maintain normal blood pressure levels with proper treatment and lifestyle modifications.
During a hypertension clinical trial, participants undergo assessments, receive either an investigational drug or a placebo and are monitored for effectiveness and safety. The process may involve regular visits, tests, and follow-up evaluations to track their health and response to treatment.
Participating in a hypertension clinical trial can provide access to new treatments that are not yet widely available and contribute to advancing medical research. Additionally, participants receive close medical attention and support from healthcare professionals throughout the study.
